One-Time Volunteer Opportunities

Maintaining the Trail requires a huge amount of help, and we cherish those individuals and groups that assist.  We can arrange a one-time opportunity for groups ranging from scouts to clubs to corporate work-day participants.  Tasks range from simple litter clean-up efforts to vegetation and tree trimming to construction or repair of structures such as boardwalks and small bridges.

Passage Monitor

Trail Monitors are the eyes and ears of the Palmetto Trail.
Monitors are responsible for surveying designated passages for maintenance needs or issues that need to be addressed. These reports are then passed along to our Trail Coordinators who work with trail volunteers to make improvements.
