Team
The Palmetto Trail is a passion project for those who build, maintain, plan, train, teach, and engage the public in support of this exceptional public resource. Some of our team work full time, some are part-time and many, many team members are volunteers from across the state. While building new trail is exciting, maintaining the hundreds of miles of existing trail is a complex, demanding and never-ending endeavor. We couldn’t do it without help. Our volunteers range from retirees who love the outdoors to scout groups and corporate teams – all of whom put in countless hours that keep the Trail in good shape for their fellow citizens.
