Join the Palmetto Trail and SC250 on Monday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m. for a guided battlefield tour at the historic Eutaw Springs battlefield as part of Carolina Day. During this approximately one hour presentation, participants will learn about the Battle of Eutaw Springs, the last major engagement of the Revolutionary War in the Carolinas, and the important role the site played in South Carolina’s history.
This guided tour offers a chance to experience the rich history of the area, hear the stories connected to the battlefield, and gain a deeper appreciation for this remarkable landscape. Following the presentation, participants are welcome to explore the Eutaw Springs Passage of the Palmetto Trail on their own.

Additionally, Palmetto Trail is also partnering with Poinsett State Park for another hike opportunity for June 29th, at Poinsett State Park. It is a 3.2 mile hike which will take place from 9 AM to 11 AM. You can find the hike for Poinsett State Park here
