Help us keep the trail clear, safe, and accessible for all! The Palmetto Trail invites volunteers to join an upcoming stewardship project along the Fort Jackson Passage, focused on clearing plant overgrowth and maintaining this well-loved section of the trail.
Fast-growing vegetation can quickly encroach on the trail corridor, making it difficult for hikers, runners, and cyclists to navigate. During this volunteer day, participants will work together to trim back overgrowth, improve visibility, and restore the trail’s accessibility. This hands-on effort plays a vital role in ensuring that the Fort Jackson Passage remains a welcoming and enjoyable space for all users.
