Instructor Bio
-Mary Nash-
I am a National Academy of
Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in
weight-loss, total body toning, pre- and post-natal fitness, as well
as balance and flexibility. I have apprenticed with leading
fitness professionals from New York and Charlotte and can help you
achieve your fitness goals. I am my own best testimony, as i
have transformed my body using the same exercise program I use for
my clients. Not too long ago, I was 30 lbs. heavier and frustrated
by my numerous failed attempts at weight-loss. My program worked for
me and it will work for you!
In my spare time, I compete in road races and fitness
challenges, spend time with my son and puppy, and like to travel.
My love of fitness, as well as health and wellness, led me to
pursue a career in personal training after working in the public
relations field for six years and graduating from the University of
South Carolina with a degree in journalism.

What are you waiting for? Get started
transforming your life today! Training Philosophy:
Exercise is one part of the whole. Deciding to
commit to a healthy life is no easy task. It takes determination and
resolve to live the best life you are able. All parts - mind, body
and soul need to be working in balance and harmony. Fantastically
enough, exercise enhances the functioning of all three. When your
body is well tuned, so are you. You are better able to see where you
need to strengthen, rest or add balance to your workouts and to your
life. Exercise clears the mind, relieves stress, and builds
confidence. Therefore, my exercise philosophy centers around the
whole-person, I fully believe that each component of a healthy
lifestyle contributes to the the enhancement of your life and your
body. What you put in your body is just as important. Eating
properly and healthfully is the best way to get started changing
your life around.
The
Women Soles & Nature
exercise and trail running course is structured for beginners but
anyone looking for exercise education is invited to participate.
Participants will start at their own walk/jog
pace and will be encouraged to build endurance in regular intervals.
Participants will be given a "home workout" schedule to work on
during the week and will gradually increase distance and speed
during the weekly group sessions. As part of the program outdoor education will
take place in an effort to arm participants with all the
necessary information they need to be safe and educated while using
trail systems. Our goal is not only to build better fitness in
the participants but help them feel comfortable in an outdoor
workout environment.
